Mission statement

Creativity has the power to transform the social fabric, heal relationships, and inspire personal growth. Nurturing creative impulses strengthens our will to act in the face of overwhelming odds, and it is the responsibility of the artist to enrich the collective imagination to envision a better world.

Bethani believes in the transformative power of creativity. Her performance creation process oscillates between stoic meditation and collaborative creation often combining elements of lyrical prose, dreamlike movement, and themes of feminism, queerness, nature, and social criticism. In 2022, Bethani graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Great Distinction.

Since 2023, Bethani has removed herself from the chase for artistic professionalism. Her focus is on privately nurturing creative impulses in the face of overwhelming odds.

Bethani is a passionate champion of the arts having served as a board member and volunteer for several organizations including the Saskatchewan Playwrights Centre, Ness Creek Music Festival, and 25th Street Theatre.
